- Homepage had to showcase the large span of Infor in the news.
Approach: Infor.com was designed in the very early 2000s and needed an overhaul which reflected its place in the tech industry. The goal was to create a responsive redesign using the already established content (with a minor revamp) in a holistic way.
Rollout began: Early 2015
Some inspiration pulls for Infor.com. Many news sites were referenced because of the goals and content that would be showcased.
The process consisted of my team creating multiple options for selection by the C-suite.
Process: Team consisted of 3 designers and we had the opportunity to present to the clients 2/3 options (shown above). The second option was ultimately chosen and then built out and is currently still live.
The multi- storied carousel was a huge success because it allowed for multiple stories to be shown at a quick glance and showcased the breath of where Infor was leaving their mark across the various industries.
The super footer creation, spearheaded by Ida W. was a win as well because it allowed us to simplify Infor’s initial nav. Now with everything easily sorted through and accessible it was cleaner and clearer for all of Infor’s potential clients to get where they had to go.
